Our mission

The Dr. Rev. William and Ella Mae Griffin Community Center is committed to serving high-risk community members through various programs including job training, education, and youth programs. We strive to provide comprehensive support and a warm, uplifting environment that creates an everlasting impact.

How we started

We believe in a community-led approach, fostering growth through education and creating a welcoming environment for all ages. Our goal is to empower individuals and strengthen the Chicago community by providing resources and opportunities for a brighter future.

Our impact

The Griffin Community Center actively helps the Chicago community through various initiatives. We operate a community food pantry to combat food insecurity, engage young people to lead, learn, and give back to their community, and provide a senior wellness program to promote healthy aging and social connection.

"The Griffin Community Center has been a beacon of hope in our community, providing vital resources and support to those who need it most."
